The comeback King!

Elvis Presley was the first rock and roll star in the 1950's. He rocked and shocked the world and seemed upstoppable. He was drafted into the army and once he came out, he stared in movies in Hollywood til the end of the 60's. Then he was dying to get back onto the stage, he missed live concerts and he missed his fans. Then in 1968, after 7 years off stage, he made his comeback! In the TV special he played himself and looked like he was having a ball. Elvis had it all that night, the voice, the look, the energy, the moves, the charm, the attitude, the humor and the rawness and realness. The King was back and even before then before! He played with Scotty Moore and DJ Fontana and friends. He did a stand up show, called in the round, and knocked us all dead! He looked amazing in tight black leather! He was still the King!
